JESSIE- The Detective (they/them)

Jessie began their career as an elementary school teacher in the Las Vegas public schools, but after a community visit from AI cops resulted in a fatal, accidental shooting of a third grader, Jessie reevaluated. They ultimately decided that joining the Las Vegas Police Department’s Casino Strip Unit was a more effective use of their skill in coalition-building and forming equitable best practices. Jessie is an idealist workaholic, a kill-them-with-kindness and keep-your-enemies-close personality type who sees systemic injustice and approaches solutions step by step. Now the head of AI police for The Strip, Jessie’s job is to make sure human and AI policing is on the same page. Personally, they have a hard time relaxing, and often find themselves skipping meals or social engagements. Jessie dreams of finding the perfect professional partner.
